Mechanism of Action

ü KINDEW (Amisulpride) blocked presynaptic dopamine D2 Receptors.

ü These presynaptic Receptors regulate the release of dopamine into the synapse.

ü So blocking than KINDEW (Amisulpride) increase dopamine concentration in the synapse.

ü This increase dopamine concentration is theorized to act on dopamine D1 Receptors to relive depressive symptoms (dysthymia) and the negative symptoms of schizophrenia.
